The weather in Baltimore was perfect this weekend so I decided to make a reservation to try out this fairly new rooftop bar and restaurant called Topside, which is located inside of the boutique hotel called Hotel Revival.
It’s very new age, modern but also rustic restaurant style. Everything feels very new and refreshing especially with an amazing view of the historical Mt. Vernon area. I heard about this place via social media and thought I’d give it a go. I had really been wanting to experience a rooftop bar/restaurant in my city.
Topside is a nice spot to experience whether you’re a local or just visiting Baltimore for any occasion whether it’s a date night, brunch or happy hour.
On the other side of the rooftop level there is The Garden Room that gives you a tropical feel with plants and florals, which are designed by a local florist. The Garden Room has custom cocktails a tea service food display with non-traditional bites.
The menu for dinner time is pretty limited, eccentric and pricey. However, I decided to go for something somewhat familiar and try their Topside Cheese Burger, which consisted of pickled onions, red dragon cheese, bacon jam with a sesame-poppy bun and fries. I also tried their Strawberries and Roses cocktail. The cocktail had McClintock Foragers gin, rose, vermouth, strawberries, lemon, aquafaba, rosewater. All in all it had a very unique taste.
I could see myself going back in the near future, but I’d probably go earlier in the day to try their brunch menu.
